Representatives will provide the ANZHFR with a consumer perspective when the Registry is conducting its activities aimed at improving hip fracture care. The ANZHFR have several different ways that you can choose to take part so you can decide the level of participation you think suits you best. You will have the option to attend in-person or online.

Some examples include:

- Tell us your views on our consumer resources or other activities

- Be part of a group that advises the Registry about things that may affect people with hip fracture

- Attend the ANZHFR annual conference and tell your story to health professionals working in the field.

You can opt-in to receive payment for your involvement. Reimbursement for your time will be at the rate of $50/hour including GST. Travel costs will be covered by the ANZHFR.

The ANZHFR want to help people with a hip fracture to get better sooner and more completely. It is helpful for people who have broken their hip or cared for someone with a broken hip to be involved. However, we welcome anyone with a passion for improving health care for older people.
